Step 2 - Reports
|
|
 |
|
|
In just a few minutes, the jammer finishes and
you're left with a list of top-level reports for you to choose from.
The list might include some of the reports you designed yourself.
Any detail reports (reports you drill down to) do not get listed.
You can only get to them by drilling down.
Not all log files have the same set of fields.
If a report is designed for log files with more fields,
it won't get listed for log files with fewer fields.

Top level reports are usually bar graphs.
Each bar usually represents the number of hits that match that line of the report.
However, it might be size of the page, the time it takes to send the page,
or how long people look at the page.
The count might be an average, a percentage, or a highest.
In any case, the count might exclude hits from you or from search bots or spiders.
It's all up to you.
In this screen-shot, There's a drill next to each line.
Clicking the drill leads to details about that line.
Sometimes, there are a few detail reports to choose from.

|
 |
|
|
In this detail shot, you can drill down even farther.
You can even get to individual click-streams.
A click-stream is the complete list of page views for one visitor.
